Deadline passed!

The deadline has now passed!

I'll now default people who haven't submitted their assignment.

Post-deadline pinch hits will go out tomorrow and will be due at 20:00 UTC on Thursday 17 April.

The posting deadline countdown says we have three more hours: https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?iso=20250411T20&p0=1440&msg=s4s+Posting+Deadline&font=sanserif. I'm very disappointed you chose to default everyone early.

It seems less clear than it used to be, but after the deadline the counter changes to the time since the deadline. If you look at the seconds they're increasing, not counting down.

It's as the anon above me says: once the deadline passes, the countdown starts counting up instead of down. It's displaying how long it's been since the deadline, not how long is left to it - when you looked, it was showing three hours past the deadline, not three hours to it.

No one was defaulted early. There was actually about a five minute grace period following the deadline before I defaulted incomplete assignments, in case anyone was in the process of posting right at that moment.
