Has the smutswap mod announced that they're stepping down permanently? I was under the impression that they would be unable to run the exchange for this year only.

Apologies, we were unclear about that! If Smut Swap runs next year, we won’t run Smut 4 Smut (at least on that schedule).

What does "at-deadline default" mean?

"At-deadline default" means anybody who didn't hit the default button themselves, but simply failed to turn in their assignment in time for the deadline. This does not count people who had extensions and successfully turned in their work.
