Welcome back for another year of smutty fun! Nominations are open now until February 10 at 8 p.m. EST! (Fandoms & Ships Tag Set | Kink Tag Set)

We have a few changes for 2023:

1. Nominations Time: Please note the nominations period is only a week this year -- this is to accommodate mod schedules. So, get your tags in ASAP!

2. Art Requirements: We have updated the rules to specify that AI-generated art cannot be used to fill art assignments.

3. No Extensions: We will not be granting extensions this year. Please plan accordingly when posting your assignments.

Additionally: If you notice any kink tags that are re-wordings of the same exact concept, we'd appreciate a heads-up! You can comment on this or any nominations clarification post.

• You can nominate up to 8 fandoms with up to 10 relationships each.
  
• Solo characters can be nominated in the relationships field with the format “Solo: Character Name.”
  
• Please avoid diatrics and piping in names. (YES: Wei Wuxian/Lan Wangji; NO: Lán Zhàn | Lán Wàngjī/Wèi Yīng | Wèi Wúxiàn) (If AO3 automatically saves it with diacritics, don’t worry about it though.)
  
• If there is an official English-language localization that differs from the original names, please use the localization names (YES: Ash Ketchum/Gary Oak; NO: Ash Ketchum | Satoshi/Gary Oak | Okido Shigeru )

• RPF nominations must be for famous people 18 years old or older. Non-famous relatives or associates of famous people are not allowed.
  
• Nominate crossovers under Crossover Fandom, with the tag format “Character A (Fandom A)/Character B (Fandom B).”
  
• Original works nominations should be split by relationship category. Nominate under "Original F/F", "Original F/M", "Original M/M", and "Original Other or Solo".
  
• Tags with "&" will not be accepted.

• Kink tags should be kinks, sex acts, or otherwise clearly sex-related. These are not intended as general freeforms - general AUs and scenarios should go in your optional details.

Notes on original works:
Same-gender groups should go under F/F or M/M.

I can't find this anywhere, not even for last year, but it must have come up somewhere at some point. What's the minimum word count requirement? (I tend to have trouble keep things short, rather than the other way around, but still, would be good to know.)

Hello! I just wanted to make sure, in relation to the rules on nominating franchises: should "Fire Emblem: Three Houses" and "Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes" both be nominated under "Fire Emblem: Three Houses"? Three Hopes is like, an interquel AU of Three Houses.

Do shows like Agent Carter, Agents of SHIELD and the Netflix Marvel shows count as Disney+ shows?
They weren't made for Disney+ and aren't part of the MCU continuity. Should I nominate them under MCU or can I nominate them separately?

Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD were separate last year, and we're sticking with that for this year too. The Netflix shows should be under The Defenders (Marvel TV).

Hello! You said above that all the Disney+ shows should be nominated under MCU, but I see Moon Knight (TV 2022) in the tagset, so have I misunderstood? Should I move my disney+ show pairings out of my MCU nominations and into the shows?

If I wanted to nominate specifically the Daniel version of Dream of the Endless from The Sandman comics should I stick with the archive standard piped tag (ie: Dream of the Endless | Daniel)?

Are there other Daniels in the canon? If it wouldn't cause confusion, just Daniel would be fine. If there are multiple Daniels as well as multiple Dream of the Endlesses, then pipe it.
